ADULT MINISTRIES

Calvary Bible Church offers a variety of ministries designed to introduce adults to the grace of God in Christ, to strengthen lives through the teaching of God’s Word, and to encourage faithfulness in daily living through the cultivation of meaningful relationships. We urge you to prayerfully consider how our adult ministries may help you grow in your faith and excel in your service. These ministries also provide wonderful opportunities to invite others to learn about the Lord, discover truths to live by, and experience peace in the midst of the challenges of life. Please click on the tabs to the right for more detailed descriptions of our ministries and consider yourself “invited” to any program or ministry that may be of benefit to you. For further information, please call the church office or stop by the Welcome Center in the main foyer to the Worship Center.

Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF)

If you are seeking an opportunity to connect with others in an environment conducive to spiritual growth, consider our Adult Bible Fellowship ministry. ABFs are midsize groups that meet on Sunday mornings from 9:45 – 10:45 AM as well as getting together occasionally for special events. We are led in the study of God’s Word by gifted Bible teachers, engage in discussion to encourage practical application of biblical principles to real life, share our concerns that we may support one another through prayer, and we seek opportunities to serve the church and reach our world.

Life Groups

Gatherings of 8-12 people who meet regularly in homes to encourage and support one another through facilitated interactive Bible study, prayer, service to others, and mutual care. They provide a wonderful environment that encourages the formation of lasting personal friendships. Life Groups, by design, are located in different geographical areas but sign-up is open to anyone regardless of where they live until a group is full. New groups are formed as needed with an emphasis on sign-up typically in the spring and fall of the year.

Volunteering – Our Life Group ministry depends on volunteers to host, organize and lead our small groups. If you are interested in getting involved by serving others in a Life Group, please contact Bob Marsh [email protected] for details.
